Steak house by SSE Hydro

Featuring a chic, contemporary décor, Source Grill is a friendly and welcoming restaurant in Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel on Argyle Street in Anderston. Handy for concert-goers en route to the SSE Hydro or the SECC, it serves a carefully chosen selection of wines, craft beers and bespoke cocktails. The engaging service provided by the upbeat staff keeps guests returning.

Top quality British ingredients

Inspired by the British steak house, Source Grill specialises in the best cuts of steak, innovative fish dishes and sharing boards – all made using carefully sourced, top quality British ingredients. The sirloin steak and flat top steak are very popular as are fish dishes such as the oven-baked fillet of cod which is served with chorizo, Stornoway black pudding and vine tomatoes.

Some options, like the Ayrshire ham hough and chicken terrine are classics. Others, such as the pan-seared duck breast with kale, sweet potato and Scotch Bonnet chilli jam, are more adventurous. From the Scottish cheeseboard to the cranachan and the sticky toffee pudding accompanied by Mackie’s ice cream, the desserts fly the flag for Caledonian produce.

Transport links and local attractions

The Source Grill at Glasgow Marriott Hotel is a short walk from Anderston Subway Station and a quick taxi ride to both Queen Street and Central railway stations. Located just off the M8 and with ample parking, the hotel is also easy to access by car. The Hydro, SECC and King’s Theatre are all a short walk.
