The food was lovely and the service prompt and friendly, although an error was made with coffees which was quickly rectified. The restaurant has a pleasant outlook overlooking Blythswood Square, the only problem that evening was a family with restless, noisy children at the table. I'm not talking about toddlers, but 8-10 year olds who couldn't sit in a seat quietly. This spoiled the ambience for me. The hotel should make it clear to guests with children that they are expected to behave and not disturb others in the dining room.
