Luxurious eclectic restaurant in city centre
The five star Blythswood Square hotel in Glasgow’s city centre is the location of this opulent restaurant and cocktail bar, which uses seasonal, locally sourced produce to serve an eclectic menu. Priding itself on quality food and exceptional service, Restaurant at Blythswood Square is a popular choice for visitors wishing to celebrate a special occasion, enjoy an indulgent meal or to relax with friends for a cocktail or two.
Classic & contemporary menu options
Restaurant at Blythswood Square prides itself on the quality of the ingredients used in their cooking, and the menu does change depending on the seasonal produce available. An example of items that may be on offer include the hand dived scallops with a light ham broth and crisp pancetta; the pan seared hake with spring onion mash, poached egg & mustard sauce; or the highland venison haunch and bon bons with beetroot textures & juniper.
The restaurant’s chefs are also proud of their natural charcoal Josper grill which helps to ensure the best possible tenderness and flavour for their carefully selected steaks. From 10oz sirloins to the more decadent 16oz chateaubriand for two, all steaks are served with twice cooked chips, marinated cherry tomatoes, bone marrow, and a choice of grill sauce. A definite ‘must try’ for meat lovers!
