Arrived with my partner after arranging a romantic night away, there was a table of almost 20 so we understood the staff attention would be otherwise occupied which we didn't mind. Ordered bruchetta which is unlike any I have had anywhere else, it was just a bit of bread with tomato and cheese melted on it. Pasta was lovely, after main course no one came over and offered us a desert menu, had to wait 15-20 mins and call someone over eventually. When we received the bill it came to £37 odd s I was confused about this considering we came with a 5pm booking of 3 course meal and a drink each for £25 only extra thing we ordered was the £2 garlic bread. Took the receipt to the till and explained to the waiter who said because my partner ordered a certain pizza it voided the whole deal?! When we were initially handed menu's no one advised us what we were allowed on our deal so we assumed it was just any pizza/pasta, when my partner ordered his pizza no one thought to say 'this isn't included in your deal' and the pizza he choose was only £1 additional than the standard margarita...
I tried to explain all this to the waiter but he was having none of it and out of embarrassment we handed over the £40 for the sub standard meal and lazy service. Do not recommend this at all and would advise 5pm to speak to their restaurants regarding how to treat those using deals to communicate with customers more effectively.
