This is my 3rd visit to Pulcinella & it just gets better. Requested a warm table location for myself & 2 friends and wasn't disappointed, as below the chair was a fan heater, but to be honest it did get a bit too warm, but I did ask for it :0). 6pm Friday night & it was busy, 2 of us had the pre-theatre menu which had a good choice on it & one had the A la carte and there was 50% off the house wine which my friends advised was good, & at £7.50 a bottle they managed a bottle each. I had the pate, then salmon which were delicious & plentiful, my friends had the minestrone soup, one had lasagne & the other Pollo Milanese (A la Carte) which came with watercress, my friend requested roast potatoes. We were surprised when we got the bill & found a £2 charge for the potatoes, which meant had she not ordered the potatoes, it would have just been chicken, sauce & watercress, restaurants usually include the potatoes & veg with the meal, only the pretentious ones cost veg separately. The service was excellent as usual, only issues I had was trying to catch someone’s attention for a Vodka after dinner had finished, but as it was very busy, I won’t mark it down on service.
