About Poco Havana
first time there and I was surprised how good it was
Awesome Cuban Fiesta
As this was our first visit to Poco Havana, we were delighted with our meal. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.
Latin American bar restaurant in city centre
Bringing a little Cuban passion to Glasgow city centre, Poco Havana is a colourful, vibrant basement bar and restaurant on West Regent Street. The bright decor will add some sunshine to the rainiest of Glasgow days and the craft beers, rum and tequila cocktails certainly don’t hurt in that regard either. Add in some Latin American tunes and downtown Havana suddenly seems within reach.
Cuban and Mexican cuisine
The menu at Poco Havana hops from Mexico to Cuba with aplomb. The menu broadly divides into small plates, including loaded nachos, street food flautas, some extremely hot wings, quesadillas and jalapeňo poppers; large plates, including some adventurous burritos, enchiladas and tacos; and a Cuban corner devoted to island comfort food classics like ropa vieja, shredded beef in a rich tomato sauce with adobo sauce and chipotle.
The pre-theatre deal offers a handy two-course set menu where burrito and enchilada fillings include the unusual haddock with citrus-pickled fennel and shredded habanero molasses beef.
