Pan Asian restaurant in Glasgow city centre
Obu is a modern pan Asian restaurant located within Princes Square. Diners can admire the touches of Asian inspiration that colour the contemporary decor while relaxing in the restaurant’s comfortable booth seating. The second floor location gives diners the option of eating on the terrace – all the atmosphere of dining al fresco without the possibility of rain.
Dim sum to ramen
Obu’s pan Asian fusion menu offers dishes from Thailand, Japan, Korea, China and even India. Sushi, dim sum, bao steamed buns filled with pork, kimchi or bulgogi beef plus salads offer lighter bites. The curries, noodle options and stir-fried wok dishes represent the main courses or more hearty dishes.
The omakase, or chef’s special selection, has some very tempting choices such as miso tuna steak; a teriyaki sirloin steak; the bulgogi burger and the Korean fried chicken. Fruit cocktails, sakes, Japanese beers and wines compliment the flavour and spice of the food.
