Both my wife and myself enjoyed lunch on a bitterly cold day, we both had a hearty bowl of minestrone with the finest focaccia bread I think I've had.
She had the chicken with a mushroom in a creamy sauce and sautéed potatoes and I had penne all'arrabiatia which was both well presented.
£5 for a small pinio Grigio was a bit steep but not unusual these days.
The chillis in my pasta were nice and gave me a glow which was just as well.
The place was quite busy but every time the door opened the place was cold again, it was comfortable but chilly at times.
