November Cafe and Late Bar, to give the Glasgow hotspot its full name, is a cosmopolitan cafe and restaurant that occupies the penthouse of the fashionable Princes Square shopping centre. November leads a double life. By day, it’s a family friendly shopping stop and lunch hangout. At night, Glasgow’s beautiful people come out for a bite to eat, perhaps a couple of cocktails from the flair bartenders and maybe even a late night foray onto the dance floor.
The food at Glasgow’s November Cafe and Late Bar covers every base from coffee and a Danish pastry to a three course blow-out. In keeping with the fashionable crowd who hang out at November, the menu is divided into sections such as pre-show, the main catwalk and after show which cover starters, main courses and desserts. More specifically, typical dishes from the regularly changing menu might include spicy tempura chicken, beef and Cajun chicken burgers, fajitas and the famous really gingery gingerbread pudding. Aspiring models and those who are struggling in the fitting rooms might appreciate the Caesar salad and the selection of baked potatoes. When dining, children are welcome up to 8pm. If you really want to spoil yourself then book one of the November balconies which overlook the stunning atrium of Princes Square. Glasgow dining doesn’t get much more dramatic than this.
