Lovely food at a bargain price!

£12 for 2 courses is a steal. The duck ginger noodles are delightful!

If heaven is like this place, I want to go there

This place is just an absolute treat to dine in. I went here with my friend for a catch up. I had the Seafood Gyoza and the Duck Shoyu noodle soup. The Gyoza comes with a little vinegar dipping sauce which is to die for, full of flavour. I think it is the Chef's secret recipe because I have asked before and they wouldn’t tell me what is in it! The Gyoza was steamed to perfection and the taste was out of this world. My main was amazing, all different kinds of vegetables in there and you also get half of a hard boiled egg. The duck was crunchy and tasty with wee bits of crispy fat on. The broth is just so delicious and full of flavour. I never finish this dish but I get it every time. Usually when I go out for dinner I like to try a variety of dishes, especially in a Japanese restaurant. In here that just isn’t an option. The broth just completes this dish and makes it absolutely perfect. My friend had the chicken Kushiyaki Skewers and the chicken Stir fried chilli noodles. They were both delicious, especially the chilli noodles, they had a lovely kick to them but not too spicy and the chicken was so soft in both dishes. You can’t fault the service in here. Each and every server is polite, attentive and makes your visit worth it. Nippon Kitchen’s sister restaurant Nanakusa (on Sauchiehall Street) used to be my favourite restaurant. I can safely say that it is not now! Every time I come here for a meal I leave more excited than I did when I came in. If I could live in one of those wee rooms upstairs I would! If you haven’t tried this place, it’s a must. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. You’ll end up a regular.
