About Meat Bar
Meats Expectations and then some!
1st time visit won't be the last, great food and very attentive service!
A rare treat, well done and certainly not medium!
You may quite easily miss the MeatBar on West Regent Street but once you've been in you will never forget it! The certainly know how to cook their meat in there! The brisket was to die for - melt in the mouth and hardly needed to use the knife to cut it. My partner had the "mother clucker" a huge feast of a chicken burger in the most delicious coating. Never mention KFC again. And to top it off they even had meat in their deserts! The bourbon bacon sundae actually worked very well and was an unusual taste sensation. I would love to go back and try the steak - they have a varied selection each day, individually priced by weight. Plus they also have a good selection of beers.
Having opened in the summer of 2013, The Meat Bar on Glasgow’s West Regent Street quickly drew acclaim from newspaper critics as well as a strong and enthusiastic clientele. A basement bar and restaurant, The Meat Bar is unashamedly carnivorous although vegetarians won’t go hungry. Stripped back walls and leather booths give it a handsome feel while savoury cocktails such as the Meatojito show a playful side to this fashionable West Regent Street hangout.
