We went for the three courses for £12 - an offer that sounded too good to be true. In fact, it was even better than we thought! To start, I had a huge plate of king prawns, followed by a generous portion of carbonara and then a dessert. The dessert menu was unfortunately a retro style one with pictures of what was available straight from the freezer, and the lemon sorbet was delicious but firmly stuck in the past. The food was excellent and if they modernise their approach to dessert it would be perfect food wise. The drinks were a little expensive and the coffee was a touch on the cool side but we were still thrilled with the good deal we got. One of the waitresses was rather abrupt and had a sulky face on but the others were lovely. One girl was obviously new but very sweet. Our table was next to the lovely stone wall which was nice to look at but pretty draughty! Overall a great experience and the food deal is the best I have seen on here.
