Brilliant & good value
First time here. We were looking for a quick bite to eat before a show - it was fab. We both had chicken fajitas which were really tasty and they came with a lovely side of sticky rice. We tried the mango margarita and strawberry margarita which were lovely - with a good kick! We then had the chocolate dessert and churros - both were delicious. For £26 in total it was fantastic value - will definitely return.

Latin American restaurant and bar in the city centre
Mango Tropical Bar & Restaurant is a kitsch and colourful hangout on Sauchiehall Street. Brimming with Latin America and Caribbean beats, you can dine to a backdrop of reggae, ska, latin and salsa. As you would expect, the decor is vibrant and fun, with a slapdash collage of colourful posters and maps creating the sense that you’ve been teleported to a boozy Brazilian barrio. If you are a looking for a sunshiney spot with an easygoing vibe to head to with friends (whatever the Scottish weather), then this is the place.
Tasty South American specials, burgers, pizzas and fajitas
Mango serves classic and authentic South American and Cuban treats with a street food-style twist. With a choice of big or small plate versions of dishes, you
can tuck into some spicy delights before trying your feet at a salsa class or even an open mic night.
Menus can change, but typical dishes might include the coconut cod goujons, the jalapeno and crumbly cheese quesadilla, and the roast pork and candied pineapple. Burgers include the chuck steak and the black bean & sweet potato. Fajitas come in steak, chicken and veggie options, or you could try out a pizza margherita with a choice of up to three toppings. Dishes are complemented by a range of cocktails, including the house special, Mango No. 5.
Sauchiehall Street transport links attractions
Mango is towards the Charing Cross station end of Sauchiehall Street. There is paid parking on Elmbank Crescent and restricted on-street parking on Sauchiehall Street itself. Local attractions include the King’s Theatre and O2 ABC.
