Lucky 7 Canteen Review

  • Rating Fab place with fab food at fab prices (Rating 5/5)
Booked this blind as we were looking for somewhere near the Kings Theatre. The reviews on 5pm were good although not within the top place which is surprising now I have been as I think it should be. There were six of us and we all had fab food. No complaints about anything. Great variety of choices & the portions were good as was the quality of the food. Pub grub style & very good. One of the waiters had us in stiches & his banter throughout our visit was so funny we commented we would go back just to listen to him. Love the shabby chic decor & their price of £10.77 for two courses & a glass of wine surely cant be beaten for value & quality. I had pate then mussels, some had soup or grilled goats cheese with fab looking burgers for seconds, One had chicken with dauphinoise potatoes. There was also a pasta choice & fish so something for everyone. One of the best deals in the city centre I have had & will certainly return.
