Decided to step out my comfort zone and give this restaurant a try based on reviews left, was delighted with my meal, wine, service and staff. Absolutely cannot recommend this enough.

Le Bistro Beaumartin is an authentic French bistro set in the heart of Glasgow. Mixing traditional French fare with an elegant and modern setting, this venue has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.

Classic French dishes
Sample some renowned French cuisine at Le Bistro Beaumartin, including frogs’ legs, snails and beef Bourguignon – traditional Burgundy beef, marinated 48 hours in Burgundy red wine, cooked with juniper berries, bay leaves, thyme, garlic and carrots and served with buttered macaroni.
For the less adventurous there is charcuterie and a wide variety of cheeses, as well as a highly recommended onion soup.
The restaurant’s food is all made with natural, fresh ingredients that are sourced locally.
As expected, Le Bistro Beaumartin has some fine French wine including exclusive French Burgundy Wines.
