La Bonne Auberge Review

  • Rating Special treat. (Rating 4.4/5)
This was a special treat for myself and a friend on holiday from America, and it was lovely. The service was friendly and efficient. We were served immediately with a glass of delicious prosecco. The afternoon tea looked stunning, we took lots of photos (sad, I know!). Unfortunately, for us, the sandwiches were disappointing. Two varieties, Egg and onion and plastic ham. I don't like egg and my friend can't eat onions. The ham was one thin slice with the texture of plastic. However, the rest of the food was delicious. Scones, poppy seed loaf, and lovely miniature cakes. We really enjoyed them. All in all, a lovely experience.
