The restaurant staff are very welcoming and there is a warm atmosphere when you enter. the décor is plush and comfortable and the seating not too cramped. The waiters are alert and very helpful. There is a very nice young Frenchman waiter who is very attentive and the local waiters could do with learning from him as they were not as attentive, but his manner was excellent. There was an interesting choice of food on the menu especially for a two course £12.95 deal. I had a prawn starter which was nice and fried haddock which was the best fried fish I have ever tasted. So light, fresh, tasty, nothing greasy about it. The desserts were to die for but I didn't have one. The house wine is lovely, French of course. I thoroughly recommend this friendly restaurant with tasty professional food. I would go back tomorrow.
