Georgics - Millennium Hotel Review

  • Rating Rating 1.8/5
I had high hopes for this restaurant as it was part of the Millenium Hotel and I was extremely disappointed. The soup was supposed to be broth but was more like a very watery vegetable. We waiting over 30 minutes after we finished our soup before the main meal came. I ordered chicken tempura and bit into one just to find it was actually fish. Thank goodness I'm not allergic to fish. The coleslaw was so watery I could have drank it. The spicy dip was so mild and in no way spicy. The chicken tempura (when I had chicken) was bland with too much batter. No-one approached us for more drinks. We finished our main and it stayed on the table for around 40 minutes before we went to the bar and asked for it to be collected and to get the bill. Our lunch took us 2 and a half hours. The service was shocking, the food was bland. I don't normally complain but I had to in this occasion. I would never recommend the Georgics.
