My first visit to Ember was during Christmas season in 2015 with the girls and we had a ball of a time. Went back again with my husband yesterday and he was very impressed. Friendly staff and great food!
Well worth a visit
Excellent little restaurant and we'll worth a visit. Staff were very attentive and the food and atmosphere were brilliant. Will definitely be back.
European restaurant in city centre
Located on Sauchiehall Street, between Pitt and Douglas streets, Ember is a welcoming restaurant which serves a variety of European dishes. A large window frontage means that the city centre street life is always on display while the booth seating encourages cosy chats among diners.
One restaurant – several cuisines
If your dining party can’t decide between Italian pizza, French confit duck and Belgian waffles, Ember Restaurant will prevent disagreements. The starters range from bread crumb-coated whitebait and classic prawn cocktails to nachos, humus with dips and calamari.
The range of main courses offers even more variety. There are pizzas, BBQ ribs, chicken penne dishes and a selection of seafood options with a mainly Mediterranean flavour. The steaks and burgers are proudly displayed on the menu but the star of the show is the range of skewers – the house speciality. Guests can choose from beef rump, pork loin, spicy chicken or tiger prawns, all served with char grilled veg and their own dipping sauces.
