Driftwood Review

  • Rating Waste of a voucher, very disappointing (Rating 2/5)
I had visited Driftwood several years ago and really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It was a very cool bar. I bought the voucher and raved about the place to my partner. What a disappointment. The place looks boring now, the staff were standing about as it was a Thur night but they were slow to seat us. The voucher was for a bucket of cocktail, nachos to share and main course each. The bucket came with straws, no glasses. Pretty refreshing but tasted non alcoholic. The nachos were bland and boring. The veggie fajitas were charcoaled and not nice, esp 3 hours later when I could still taste them. There were only 3 small wraps to go with them. Partner had chilli dog which he thought was average. Glad it was cheap, but not happening again. Pity.
