Darcy's Review

  • Rating Very disappointed (Rating 2/5)
I go out for dinner most weeks and I am usually overly satisfied with the food. I guess I might be spoiled. Anyway my starter was meatballs - they tasted like the kind you would get out of a tin and didn't look much different. My partner had the mini hamburgers, which were a bit raw in the middle. I didn't eat my meatballs and the lovely waitress offered me a new starter. It was the haloumi - it tasted over done and there was no dressing on the salad. I ate it as I had already caused a fuss. My main was roast chicken - one breast was fine and the other was really dry and over cooked. My partner had the seabass, which was a tiny portion and he didn't enjoy it. He is the opposite of fussy so for him to moan about it shows you how bad it was. The waitress was very helpful - she had a great attitude which meant I still tipped her even though the food was awful. I never bother to write reviews but as the restaurant had 4/5 on 5pm I thought I should write this. I saw that score and automatically though the place would be good.
