We had a lovely time. The staff were really lovely.. so smiley and friendly and helpful. The food was really good but spoiled a little when my mother got a pork steak that was under-done and pink. She didn't discover the meat was under-done until she got to the middle of the escalope. It was cooked properly toward the edges but the thicker piece in the middle wasn't. In fairness, as soon as it was pointed out to the staff they apologised and cooked my mother another main course of pork. By the time it arrived however my husband and I had finished our main courses so my mother was eating by herself at that point. Upside - we got 20% off the food and my mother got a complimentary dessert. We were a little disappointed but.. d'you know what, they tried and succeeded in addressing what happened and we left happy enough. My mother is 75 years old and I definitely don't want her eating pink pork so that's what worried me but no harm done. It's a lovely restaurant and well done guys for making amends - we'll be back because people who don't make mistakes don't exist. People who say sorry and fix mistakes are ok in my book.
