Cubatas Tapas Bar & Restaurant Review

  • Rating Good Tapas (Rating 3.2/5)
Booked the 3 course plus drink deal for £14.95, visisted on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was very quiet. Service from the waitress was quick and friendly. The tapas arrived all piping hot and good portion sizes, everyone enjoyed what they chose. My only letdown was the complimentary dessert, chocolate cake covered in chocolate sauce, I dont really like chocolate cake anyway but even if I did don't think I would have rated it much. No alternative was offered and I took a tiny bite to try it, sponge was really dry like the sort you would use in a trifle , maybe it was typically Spanish, I don't know, but it wasn't nice for my taste anyway. Other than that everything was fine, can't comment on the atmosphere as there was only one other table occupied when we were there.
