Cranachan Review

  • Rating Disappointing (Rating 1.4/5)
I took my Gran to Cranachan on Sunday for Mother's Day, it was extremely busy which was totally fine given the day it was. However this lead to the service being incredibly slow, we were asked did we want our tea served immediately to which we said yes, yet waited over 30 minutes for this and having to ask a few times. There was one member of staff who was working her socks off and one member who didn't seem to be doing an awful lot. We were only given 1 pot of tea between two, enough for 1 cup and then charged £5 for another pot. I think this is particularly poor. The sandwiches were tasty and the cakes albeit the smallest (3 tiny squares) I've seen on any afternoon tea, they were lovely. The total bill was over £41. Left completely underwhelmed.
