I have been here a few times and was expecting to have a wait of around 20 to 30 mins for the food as it is cooked fresh. Last night I had to wait 45 mins for 2 burgers and 2 sides, which arrived as I approached the manager to ask where the food had gotten to.
Food arrived and the waitress asked if there was anything else she could get us, I replied no now that the food has finally arrived that would be all. To which she replied "Well this isn't McDonalds and you do have to wait sometimes for the food." As you could imagine this was the last thing I wanted to hear. After the meal I spoke to the waitress again who was saying that its always this way and people sometimes wait longer for food. I asked to speak to the manager and was told the guy behind the bar is the manager but there is nothing he can really do, so I asked to speak to his manager and told him that it was really unacceptable to wait this long for 2 burgers and to be told this isn't McDonalds. Basically he said oh the restaurant in the main hotel is busy and there was going to be a knock on effect in this side of the building. I informed him that if I had been told I had to wait 45 for 2 burgers I would have went elsewhere and eaten. Meal was given for free at the end but wouldn't recommend going there unless you have 2 hours to spare for dinner. They should stick to serving drinks and leave the food to the main restaurant or employ more chefs.
