Chop Chop Glasgow Review

  • Rating First time visit. (Rating 4.6/5)
Decided to visit Chop Chop for the first time with some friends. We hadn't really checked the menu, assuming it would just be a normal lunchtime offer of probably two courses and coffee/sweet. What we got was the rolling menu....basically loads of food constantly brought to us.....probably best way to describe it would be a tapas-like experience, with various dumplings/salads/soups/noodles just being served at a perfect pace by the smiling, informative staff. As yet they don't have a license but Oddbins is a few doors away (and the restaurant don't charge corkage). A quick lunch being a two hour dining experience with us repeating some of the earlier dishes towards the end of our stay. Only downside was probably the soups....just need a touch more flavour to them, everything else gets a 10/10. The cost for this....£7.50 per person, unbelievable value! Go now before everyone finds out about it and you can't get a seat. We're intending to visit to sample the evening a la carte menu in the very near future.
