Unfortunately, this time we were not impressed with the service (although we have been before and were very pleased with overall experience previously): on this particular occasion staff didn't know the menu or the contents of the dishes; few of the items were missing from the menu, also some of the wines were out of stock so we had to settle for our second choices. When the wine was served we were not asked to try it, it was just poured into our glasses. Water was also poured into the glasses almost to the edge when it should have been just poured up to the half glass and refilled if and when required. My boyfriend ordered the seafood platter (crab was out of stock so it was replaced with additional salmon), prawns were unpeeled however he wasn't provided with the dish/or the wipes to clean his hands. The bread plates were not cleared away for a while. We got the impression that staff was new and wasn't trained properly (although they were nice) but unfortunately it is these little things that create the overall impression which resulted us leaving without particular desire to rush back. The food, however, was very nice.
