We live in Edinburgh and have been meaning to try this for a while, being one of Glasgow's better rated restaurants. While the Scallop starter was ok, they were a trifle overcooked. The Duck Trio was fine. As for mains, and bearing in mind this is not a Michelin, they are overpriced. In particular, the Arctic Char was overcooked & the dumplings chewy. I could have done better myself. For £24 I would expect better. No cheese, ain't paying £12.50.
Service was impossibly slow. I realise it's meant to be relaxed service and we do appreciate slow food, but there was an hour between courses, come on.
