Barca Tapas and Cava Bar Review

  • Rating Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting (Rating 4.4/5)
I went with my mum to barca on a busy Saturday night, our reservation was for 9 but we went in at half past 8 to see if there was a table available. The cheery waitress showed us to a table immediately and gave us the 5pm menu and the wine list. We ordered 7 tapas in total my only issue was that the sauce for the mussels was a bit watery and tasteless otherwise the food was really good as was the service. The main issue was that the restaurant was unbearably hot and I truly felt terrible for the staff being stuck in that restaurant for long periods of time. When we commented this to the member of the waiting staff we were asked if we would like to move outside. We did and although it was still really warm it was less so. To summarise the food was nice enough, maybe a little expensive for what you get but the service was really great.
