Dinner at Bar Soba was possibly one of the most disappointing culinary experiences I have had the displeasure to encounter in a very long long time. Considering the previous reviews of this establishment, I must be the only person in Glasgow to have had a bad experience here. To begin with, I'm not a fussy eater and I'm easily pleased. But rarely have a left a restaurant wanting to head directly to the nearest fast food outlet for some "nourishment". This was one such occasion. I ordered the Mussaman Beef. This consisted for 5 chunks of fatty beef served with undercooked potato, drowned in gravy. The table service was as efficient as the miles per gallon of a Challenger II battle tank. Approx 20 mins after finishing my "main course", I managed to place an order for a Mojito Ice Cream. Approx 30 mins later, a glass of semi frozen ice cream arrived in front of me, complete with mini chunks of ice. To say the least, it was horrible. Another 20 mins went by before the bill arrived. This wasn't a success either as an error was made and I was charged twice for the dessert. Eventually, a new, correct, bill arrived which I grudgingly paid.
