    Lovely food, great staff!

On entering the venue we were met by a very enthusiastic team member who enquired if we would be eating or just having a drink. We were taken to a table and the varied menu was explained to us by another just as friendly team member. Moments after our menu choices were taken a complimentary pitcher of ice cold water was brought to the table which was a very unexpected bonus. Starters arrived in only a few minutes and they were both great, fresh and very, very tasty. The steamed guyozas were perfectly cooked and the Vietnamese chicken wings were served with a very tangy sauce which complemented the chicken perfectly. The starters were cleared and soon after our main course of Pad Thai arrived. Presentation was really good. The noodles were freshly cooked as was the stir fried vegetables were perfectly al denté. The Pad Thai sauce used has a real kick to it which we were not expecting but that's just our personal taste! We can't wait to return to Bar Soba very soon! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Great job, Bar Soba Mitchell lane Glasgow.

    tasty food

Good value for money and the menu was a big different to usual deals. Only complaint was they did not have enough mild for coffee except americano.

Award-winning pan-Asian restaurant in city centre

Discretely tucked away down Mitchell Lane, Glasgow’s Bar Soba manages to be a cool restaurant and bar without having to try too hard. Split over two levels, Soba features a trendy ground floor bar and a comfortable restaurant space downstairs. Bar Soba knows how to make sure that its customers are having a good time whether they have come for some fresh pan-Asian food, a cocktail master class or simply for a drink and some top tunes at one of the regular Bar Soba club nights.

Asian fusion & inventive cocktails

Bar Soba has one of the most imaginative Asian fusion menus in Glasgow city centre. The restaurant’s exotic menu features ‘wok dishes’ such as Singapore noodles, pad thai or rare breed pork katsu burger, and sushi fans are also catered for with the various options available. Dishes that have proven to be popular with diners are Bar Soba’s Thai green curry and Thai minced meat salad “LAAP”, and few have been able to turn down a helping of the rich dark chocolate and peanut brownie.

Close to Central Station & St. Enoch Subway

Bar Soba is located just off Buchanan Street and is a 5 minute walk from Central Station and St. Enoch Subway. Queen Street train station and Buchanan Street Subway station are a brisk 10 minute walk from the restaurant, and there are several bus stops and taxi ranks nearby.
