We were given a warm welcome on arrival at the Atlantic and shown to our table. Little did we know the culinary delight that was awaiting us on on the 5pm January Two Course Sale. I am always wary when I see the term "Set Menu" but the set menu offered today covered all tastes and was extensive both for starters and mains. Our Witer Mantas continued the waem welcome we had received and was polite, efficient and personable throught the service. We both opted for Moules Marinieres to start. The portion for a starter was beyond generous and was accompanied by two pieces of the heartiest,sweetest Gar;ic I have tasted in a long while. This dish on its own would have made a more than tasty and filling lunch so we opted for just the one slice each. Our Mains of Bouef Bourguignon and Swordfish Steak were again of the highest standard, even when we asked for the potatoes of the Bouef Bourguignon to be heated up, the response was a full fresh plate of everything.This was followed up with a nice touch. on declining the sweet menu (we really could not eat another thing lol) we were offered complimentary coffees whcih although we declined we nevertheless appreciated the gesture. 10 out of 10 for Customer service. We would bot thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would recommend it. We will most definitely be back.
