Antipasti (City Centre) Review

  • Rating Rating 1.4/5
Have been here a few times before going to theatre and always had pleasant experience however beginning to wonder if it has changed hands. On arrival we were met by waitress who confirmed our reservation and said she'd be with us in a moment only to rush off and never to return to us. We were then greeted by a waiter who showed us to our table. The waitress then gave us the menu and said they were 'rushed off their feet' there were only two waiting staff and they hadn't expected it to be so busy. We were seated upstairs next to the stairs and were constantly bombarded with thunderous sounds as the waiting staff 'sprinted' up and down the stairs. The food was awful and the lasagne, although the serving dish was very hot, lukewarm in the middle. The staff were doing their best although it was not conclusive to a relaxing atmosphere. I will not be returning to this place again as it has gone downhill very fast.
