Antipasti (City Centre) Review

  • Rating Excellent value (Rating 4.4/5)
We regularly go here for dinner so thought we would try lunch too! £5 for 2 courses on lunch menu. My starter was the pate and cant fault it. Delicious. And a nice touch that they gave brown bread with it. My partner got spicy chicken goujons and he really wasn't pleased. The balsamic dressing tasted watered down and very bland. There wasn't much spice to them either. Mains was a chicken pizza and a beef and sausage burger. Redeemed themselves here. The only issue I had was they didn't cut my pizza. Didn't even half it? But taste wise.. both were delicious The only reason I marked it down this visit was the wait to get order taken. I understand they are busy and I don't mind waiting for food. But I do believe when you order a bottle of beer you shouldn't wait too long. We also ordered a coke once the main and the girl didn't bring it up until meals were finished. It was busy but it was slightly frustrating. However I would still absolutely go back.
