Booked for a lunch with the other half. We were warmly welcomed, seated very quickly and had our jackets taken to be hung up which makes a change from stuffing them under your chair or hanging over the back. We both had starters and main course. I had a trio of foccacia with mushrooms tomatoes with mozzarella and roasted peppers and other half had bruschetta. Both lovely, staff very attentive and plates cleared quickly without feeling like they were circling us. It was a very busy service and there was no waiting around mains came and both were delighted I had the crab meat and tiger prawn risotto which is definitely worth the £2 surcharge. The nicest risotto Ive had out ever and other half had the stroganoff which was also delicious. The ONLY thing that let the lu ch down was the choice of glassware on the tables. We asked for water for the table in addition to some cocktails and the glasses that both the cocktails were severed in and the water looked like they should be thrown out with that "been in the dishwasher too much look which I think when you're spending £50 for a lunch should be addressed by the barstaff/manager. But all in all the food speak volumes so will go back.
