Amarone Glasgow Review

  • Rating Dinner at Amarone Buchanan Street Glasgow (Rating 3.6/5)
The service from arriving to leaving the restaurant was excellent. A warm welcome and smiling faces from staff. Very patient too as my friend was late. The waiter made sure I was ok on my own. Nice glass of Primitivo helped while I waited. I ordered the chicken and black pudding with whisky sauce as my main. There was some wait, and the chicken was very dry which was disappointing. Also our dessert of honey and ginger cheesecake was pretty tasteless. No ginger taste at all and the base tasted of digestive biscuits rather than the ginger nut biscuit as stated on the menu. A shared starter was nice and my friend's pasta was ok.
