Amarone Glasgow Review

  • Rating Yum in the sun (Rating 4.6/5)
It was a beautiful day, so we were happy to be seated outside on the terrace. The waiters were speedy with our menus and patient when we were deciding on our drinks and food. We chose a rose pinot grigio, which was delicious and refreshing in the sun. We both had caprese salad to start which came in a healthy portion with tasty dressing. Our mains came quite soon after our starters, another 5 minutes would've been better. I had the seafood linguine in tomato sauce which was well seasoned and extremely tasty although the calamari was a little overdone but didn't spoil the dish. My partner had chicken and pancetta taglioline which had a lovely smoky flavour. The waiters were attentive and polite and we felt well looked after. We finished our meal off with a raspberry mojito that was well made and again very refreshing. Lovely wee place with a good buzz about it,even more so with the weather bringing in good business on the terrace. Will definitely eat here again, brilliant value.
