We had an excellent Christmas lunch, starting with Wild Mushroom And Spinach Tart and Confit Duck And Ham Hock Terrine With Pickles And Apple Chutney. Both were very good with sensibly sized portions. We then had Baked Organic Shetland Salmon Fillet with Arran Mustard And Chive Beurre Blanc and Char-Grilled 8oz Sirloin Steak With Field Mushrooms, Tomato And A Green Peppercorn And Brandy Sauce. The steaks were fantastic with a very generous helping of various vegetables including superb big crispy chips. Our sweet was Rich Chocolate Parfait with Raspberry Coulis. This tasted superb with the delicious coulis really enhancing the sweet. We finished our meal with Coffee and petit fours. The staff are very welcoming and attentive.
The 5pm lunch deal is really excellent value for money.
