I cannot enthuse enough about our recent lunch at Hotel Du Vin, St Andrews. From the minute we arrived, the staff were brilliant. We were there a day or two before the start of The Open and so parking in town was tricky but the hotel manager sourced us a space and made us feel extremely welcome.
The excellent service continued with every staff member we came into contact with: helpful, yes but more than that as well, with everyone super friendly and attentive.
The food was fantastic as well; the lobster, artisan cheeses and bread and butter pudding were standouts.
All in all, a fantastic experience from beginning to end, with an exceptional standard of service from all the lovely staff.
