Food was excellent and we were well looked after. Lunch is very good value. Dinner and normal menu quite expensive. Choice on menu was relatively limited and I expected a steak to be on the with a supplement, but it wasnt an option. Will definitely go back for lunch even although I couldnt get steak! :)

Went on the 5pm deal so the value for money was very good and cant comment on the A la Carte, service was great and as it was our anniversary they gave us a great table looking on to the castle. 1st time there, will definately be back when I am next in Edinburgh.

Kyloe Restaurant & Grill is Edinburgh’s first gourmet steak restaurant. Located on the first floor of the Rutland Hotel, it’s West End location allows views of Edinburgh Castle. The restaurant gets it’s name from the old Scots word for Highland beef cattle, to represent the versatility and strength of Scottish beef produce.

With David Haetzman, their award winning head chef, carefully selecting suppliers, he has created Grill Menu to make the most of a selection of traditional as well as slightly more unusual cuts to bring out the texture and flavour. Scotland’s seasonal and responsibly sourced produce is also featured in the restaurant’s A La Carte menu.
