The meal was very nice - food was very good. Salmon was a little over cooked and hence a bit dry. Chicken dish was lovely only wish it had come with a little more sauce on the plate. The overall meal was great value - two for 1 on the main course. Excellent

Located in Edinburgh’s West End 1780 Restaurant is a warm and welcoming restaurant. Its electric style, bustling atmosphere and friendly staff simply adds to its warmth and charm.

To Start diners should try the Scottish Pâte, with red onion and balsamic reduction, and toasted fresh bread and for main try the The Bard’s Haggis! Accompanied by neeps, tatties, a red onion marmalade, and oatcakes. We recommend topping it off with their own highland whisky sauce. If you feel like something sweet to finish then the Sticky Toffee Pudding is a must!

1780 has a wide array of hand picked wines and a vast Whiskey selection to accompany their delicious menu.
