About Zico's Grill Bar
Rebecca & Phyllis
We had a lovely evening with cocktails and very tasty food that just kept on coming.
Under new ownership, she was very nice and helpful as were the rest of her staff. Definitely recommend.
Modern Brazilian churrascaria on Morrison Street
Zico’s Grill Bar is a churrascaria, or Brazilian barbeque restaurant, on Morrison Street. Diners pay a set price and can eat as much as they choose. Zico’s is a compact space and simply decorated – none of which stops a carnival atmosphere developing on busy nights. Couples are, of course welcome, but it is fair to say that Zico’s Grill Bar is particularly well suited for celebrating groups. Traditional Brazilian cocktails such as caipirinhas and mojitos help the meat feast go down.
Wide choice of BBQ meats
There are salads, side dishes, hot dishes and even vegetarian options at the buffet table but the star of the show, the main event, at Zico’s is the meat. Guests can feast on beef ribs, pork loin, sausage, lamb, chicken and several cuts of beef including the Brazilian favourite – picanha, a marinated rump cut. It is all carved and served at the table. Showing the waiting staff a green card means you would like some more. A red card means you surrender. Having a healthy appetite is an advantage here.
West End transport links and attractions
Zico’s Grill Bar is on Morrison Street, a five minute walk from Haymarket train station and the tram line. There is limited on-street parking and car parking at the Sheraton. Zico’s is handy for Edinburgh International Conference Centre and en route to Murrayfield and Tynecastle stadiums.
