    Relaxing lunch

    Had lite lunch menu set price for 2 courses. Just right for that time of day. Soup and Tower fish pie - delicious. First class and the view! Snowing over the Castle. Remember to visit the 7th floor for more fantastic views.

Tower Restaurant specialises in Scottish cuisine with a somewhat global flair and uses only the best produce in the dishes they create.

Expertly prepared food & views of Edinburgh’s skyline

The chefs at Tower Restaurant seek to make the most of Scotland’s produce so the menus often feature items such as hand dived scallops from the Isle of Mull; salmon from Loch Duart; or calf’s liver with Ayrshire bacon. Some guests have been known to treat themselves to the indulgent lobster thermidor or the restaurant’s expertly grilled chateaubriand steak, whilst others have opted for an earlier visit during the day to sample Tower Restaurant’s exquisite afternoon tea.

Accessibility to the Old Town & transport links

Wheelchair accessible and child-friendly, Tower Restaurant is on the roof of the Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street in Edinburgh’s Old Town. Pay and display parking is available outside the museum as well as NCP car park at nearby Lauriston Place. Waverley train station is a 10 minute walk from the restaurant, and there are also bus stops and taxi ranks close by.
