The food was sometimes too adventurous (I didn't enjoy a shot glass of basil flavoured oil and water and a melba toast that could break your teeth) but apart from that was tasty and well-proportioned. The staff didn't point out how the set menu worked without prompting, which was what I'd booked through 5pm, and I had to produce my booking printout to get the prosecco offered on 5pm, as again the staff weren't aware of that. As we dined early, the restaurant was quiet and the staff were perhaps a bit too over-attentive as a result, but overall it was a great spot for a peaceful pre-theatre meal.
