The food here was fantastic, we dined on the market menu and all our courses were extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Despite opting for the cheaper menu, we were never made to feel anything but valued as customers. Our table was perfect (right next to the dangley stuff from the ceiling-if you go you'll know where i mean) it felt cosey without feeling claustrophobic. I would recommend phoning ahead to find out what is on the market menu as it changed very regularly and with a choice of only 3 options i would hate to arrive in this gorgeous place and find there was nothing on the menu to my liking.
The waiting staff were polite without being stuffy, and were almost always present on the floor to attend to any needs. I'd read reviews that said the service was slow and i have to say that for food the timing between courses was perfect, not rushed but not waiting for hours between courses either, however drinks were not quite so prompt. I ordered a glass of wine when my starter plate was removed but it didn't arrive until my main course was almost finished! would definitely return for the beautiful food, but maybe we should order a bottle at the beginning of the evening to ensure a drink with our meal.
