If I'd paid the full price for the sweet afternoon tea, I'd have been very disappointed. There's a bit too much of the shabby and less of the chic from the minute you walk through the front door. The staff were very pleasant but the venue was disappointing. The ceiling in the Brasserie needs a really good refurbish! The toilet (one unisex right next to the kitchen) needs a rethink too. The food was ok but I doubt it was homemade bread for the sandwiches. Also, there was no choice regarding the tea variety, which surprised me. Having said that, the place was really busy so maybe we're a bit picky!
