Beautiful setting in the intimate hotel restaurant. We had opted for the 5pm deal as we were going to see a show at the playhouse at 7. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The service was friendly and efficient. We were presented with a choice of cocktail. (Bellinis, strawberry and raspberry) and an extremely generous seasonal menu. Especially given the price.
We both had a lovely fresh and light squash tart with spinach and brie to start. I had venison and my friend had sea bass for main. Both well presented, well portioned and very tasty.
We both had the cherry marquise Eton mess for dessert. The perfect balance between rich and light. Beautiful and melt in the mouth.
Couldn't believe the value and would come back again and again. Flawless.
