The food was very average. I had the duck main course, which was nicely cooked but such a tiny portion of dauphinoise potatoes that I had to steal some chips from my friends! The burgers (which my friends ordered) were sizeable portions, although the bacon was extremely fatty. Mussels starters were good. House red (Shiraz) was drinkable, house white (sauvignon blanc) was quite bitter. However, the 5pm menu represents good value for money. Service friendly, but a little slow, although it was Sat night. Very tasteful decor.
