So my partner & I decided to take our mums to Grand Cru for Mother's Day lunch & we were more than disappointed with every aspect. We were 'greeted' by a waitress who could barely crack a smile let alone make you feel welcome, it took 10 minutes after being seated to get a menu. When the starters came, the soup was sent back as it was cold which meant the majority of the table were finished their starter before the soup was brought back 'hot'.
Mains then came, 1 was sent back as it was not made the way it was specifically asked (sauce on the side, simple request) this resulted again in someone being without their food but for this course it was not an issue as everyone's food was unedible! Bland to say the least & barely warm! The mains were taken off the bill however it's just not acceptable as our Mother's Day meal was ruined & obviously it was too short notice to try to go else where. I wouldn't recommend Grand Cru for food to anyone!
