Asti Review

  • Rating Great food shame about the lack of atmosphere (Rating 2.8/5)
Excellent food, but a note to any diners, ask for a table at the front of the restaurant. My friend and I were taken through the back which was like a large store cupboard - all white walls, tables jammed in, my friend had to keep moving her seat to allow the party behind her to get in and out. The sparkling wine list is very expensive almost £20 for a bottle of Asti which considering thats the price for Prosecco in the city centre bars such as The Huxley is a bit cheeky. But service was very good and the food, as i say, was first class. Would suggest it more a daytime place as see they do breakfast and lunch, but in the evening avoid the depressing back room.
